Our First Unity Sand Ceremony Featured Bride!
Congratulations to Tasha Hays, our first Unity Sand Ceremony Featured Bride! Tasha married Ricardo Hays Snr in May last year. Tasha used the Unity Sand Ceremony for her wedding.
“We really enjoyed doing the sand ceremony. All of our guests thought the Unity Sand Ceremony was very neat and added a nice touch to the ceremony.” As Tasha found you don’t have to perform the Unity Sand Ceremony during the Marriage Service itself, you can perform it during the reception afterwards with great effect. Tasha and Ricardo have three children who they included in the Unity Sand Ceremony by them having their own vase of different colored scenic sand.
All had their own favorite color: red and black for the boys and blue for their daughter. Tasha’s scenic sand was light green and Ricardo’s was dark green while the celebrant’s was white. Altogether they made for a very colorful Unity vase. Tasha intends showing off the Unity vase and individual vases in a display in their home to remind them of the vows they made on their special wedding day. She also thinks that the display makes a very beautiful decoration. Tasha said that she was inspired to have the Unity Sand Ceremony included in her wedding because she thought it was something different to include in the ceremony of the day. Asked to give some advice to other brides, Tasha said that it was important to order in good time before the ceremony so that nothing was rushed. Also it was important to get everything from the same supplier so that it all matched perfectly. And that’s exactly what you can do at MyDivineWedding.com.
